Land Acknowledgement

Pearl Inspirations is located in Monkton, Ontario, within the region now known as Huron and Perth Counties. We acknowledge that this land is part of the traditional territories of the Mississaugas, Mississaugas of the Credit, Odawa, Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, and Attiwonderonk (Neutral) peoples and their ancestors, and is connected to Treaties 29 and 45½.
 

We are grateful to live, work, learn, and support families on this land. We acknowledge the enduring presence, knowledge, cultures, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, and we recognize our shared responsibility to move forward with respect, humility, and care.

 

As a clinic focused on communication, learning, behaviour, connection, and growth, we recognize that land acknowledgements must be more than words. Acknowledging the traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples is only one small, intentional step - we believe it is an opportunity to reflect, learn, and contribute to meaningful reconciliation through our everyday actions.
