Meet Our Founder
Erin Swinkels (she/her)
Owner, Director

Pearl Inspirations is owned and operated by Erin Swinkels, Speech Language Pathologist, Registered Behaviour Analyst (BCBA, RBA (Ont.)) and Registered Early Childhood Educator.
Erin founded Pearl Inspirations with the desire to make a meaningful impact in the world. With a background in speech language pathology, behaviour analysis and early childhood education, she embarked on this journey with big dreams and big visions.
She has almost 10 years' experience working with children and youth with a variety of diagnoses as an SLP & BCBA. She also has experience working for both private practice and in school based services, as well as experience as a clinical practice leader and clinic manager. Guided by a passion for evidence based practice and personalized learning approaches, Erin strives to shape an environment that fosters curiosity, a love of learning, critical thinking, and growth for our staff and our families. She believes interdisciplinary practice should be at the heart of everything we do - there is so much we can learn from each other.
Our team at Pearl Inspirations is driven by shared values and, together, we aspire to be catalysts for positive change in the lives of our learners. I am excited to lead individuals in their journey and look forward to contributing to the development of confident, empowered, and lifelong learners.

Erin S.
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP(C)), Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A., (Ont).), Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
Hi! First and foremost I am a mom to two wonderful kids. I am also one of less than 500 professionals world wide who is dually credentialed as an SLP and a BCBA. I am passionate about evidence based and collaborative practice, combining effective strategies from the fields of speech language pathology and applied behaviour analysis. I prioritize goals that will help my students be able to learn from their natural environment, and work towards a genuine love for learning. I believe learning should be fun, relevant and meaningful. I am passionate about helping my students become more independent and successful communicators. I am also dedicated to fostering an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous growth, not only within the company but also within the communities we serve.

Hi! My name is Makayla, and I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)/Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA).
I have been working within the field since 2020. During this time, I have found my passion for supporting and working with children with autism and other developmental needs, as well as their families.
My goal as a clinician is to consider each person’s strengths and challenges, come alongside them and provide compassion, empathy, dignity and respect.

Hi! I'm Natasha and before anything else, I am a proud mom of two very busy boys who keep my schedule full with hockey and baseball games.
I have been an Educational Assistant within the school board since 2013 and am thrilled to be transitioning into the clinical setting. I have always had a strong passion for supporting children and youth as they grow into the best versions of themselves, celebrating their strengths and supporting their unique and complex needs.
I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and growth and I look forward to working with clients in ways that can be fun, creative, and meaningful while still helping them feel independent and successful in the ways that matter most to them and their families. Looking forward to connecting with you!

Hi! I'm Emma, a Supervised Assistant with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and reach their full potential through individualized and engaging support.
While pursuing my degree in Biomedical Science, I discovered a passion for child development and psychology, which inspired me to further my education through the Autism and Behaviour Science graduate certificate program.
Through my training, I gained experience working with children in both school and clinical settings. These experiences deepened my understanding that every child has unique strengths, needs, and goals. I enjoy creating engaging learning opportunities that incorporate creativity, play, and each child's unique interests. Whether through games, hands-on activities, or everyday experiences, I strive to create a positive environment where children feel motivated, supported, and celebrated for their achievements.
