Meet Our Founder

Erin Swinkels (she/her)

M.S., M.H.Sc., SLP(C) Reg. CASLPO, R.B.A., (Ont)., RECE

Pearl Inspirations is owned and operated by Erin Swinkels, Speech Language Pathologist, Registered Behaviour Analyst and Registered Early Childhood Educator.

Erin has experience working with children and youth with a variety of diagnoses. She also has experience working for both private practice and school based services. Guided by a passion for personalized learning approaches, Erin strives to shape an environment that fosters curiosity, a love of learning, critical thinking, and growth for our staff and our families. She believes interdisciplinary practice should be at the heart of everything we do.

Our team at Pearl Inspirations is driven by shared values and, together, we aspire to be catalysts for positive change in the lives of our learners. I am excited to lead individuals in their journey and look forward to contributing to the development of confident, empowered, and lifelong learners.

Hi! I'm Erin Swinkels. I am passionate about evidence based and collaborative practice, combining effective strategies from the fields of speech language pathology and applied behaviour analysis. I prioritize goals that will help my students be able to learn from their natural environment, and work towards a genuine love for learning. I believe learning should be fun, relevant and meaningful. I am passionate about helping my students become more independent and successful communicators. I am also an (imperfect) mom to two wonderfully wild kids.
